Pristina, 13 September 2014- Training courses for Fall 2014 have already began. On September 13, USAID’s CLE Program in cooperation with Kosovo Bar Association (KBA) held a training course on Contract on Loan, Interest and Penalty Interest.

During this training, participants were introduced and discussed about many topic such as:

Regulation of the Contract on Loan by the Kosovo Law

Form of the Contract on Loan

Essential elements of the Contract on Loan

Clauses of the Contract on Loan

Probation of compound interest

Cessation of flowing or calculation of interest

Regulation of penalty interest according to the existing Law on Obligational Relationships

Manner of calculating the interest and penalty interest

Loan reprogramming

Calculating penalty interest when reprogramming the loan

The upcoming training is on Saturday, September 20, 2014 on Business Organizations.

USAID’s CLE Program is committed to support the Continuous Compulsory Legal Education training program for lawyers of KBA. A total of 11 training courses will be delivered on different topics of commercial law throughout Fall 2014- June 2015.
